A- Character Alias
|
- When choosing a character alias, try to pick one that has a Star Wars feel to it.
- An alias cannot contain ranks or titles, numbers or special characters, and it must sound like a name.
The names of famous people, real or ficticious, will not be allowed. Any such aliases will be deleted, and
the character will be rejected by the admins.
- Please keep in mind that the alias that you choose will be your name for the entire existance
of your character. People will be calling you by that alias, so choose one that you will feel
comfortable with.
|
B- Race
|
- The race you choose will have serious effects on your character's stats. Each race has
different bonuses. Some races may also have a disadvantage.
- This list contains only the current SWU races. As more are added to the game, they will be added to this list.

C- Languages
|
- Each race has its own language, and speaks in its own language. A player is able to
select 2 languages that his or her character knows. When talking in the game, the character
will be able to understand others talking in those two languages, but not any other.
- A character can learn more languages in two different ways. One is from an age factor
(see below), and the other is through the Languages skill.
|
D- Age Factors
|
- When choosing an age, be aware that you cannot change it. Your age will be shown in your
profile with your character's other important information.
- Because different races age differently than humans, for example Wookies who live to be
hundreds of years old, all races in Star Wars Unleashed will be considered middle-aged and aged
at different age limits. Thus, a Human is middle-aged at 40 while a Hutt is middle-aged at 567.

E- Weight
|
- Characters can only carry so much, and as such they cannot carry infinite items. Each race
has a base weight allowance. This weight allowance it determined by the size of items and
weapons.
- The amount of weight a character can carry depends on the race of that character. An average
base maximum weight allowance is 20.

- The full maximum weight allowance of a character is found by adding the species
base to two times the characters strength, plus and item modifiers.
- For more information on the weight of items and weapons, read the Items Rules
or the Weapons Rules.
|
F- Starting Items
|
- When a character is created, he or she will be given 2000 credits.
- A character will also have a chance to recieve a random freighter, vehicle,
or astromech droid. A character has a 2% chance for a freighter, a 4% chance for a vehicle, and
a 6% chance for an astromech.
- A character will also be given a blaster pistol, a blast vest and a blast helmet, and one small
bacta patch.
|
G- Starting Locations
|
- When your character is created, you must choose a starting location from several
locations. This is where your character will be placed. If you join a faction or minor
group, try to pick a location near to your group's headquarters.
- When choosing a starting point, keep in mind that most characters do not start out with a
ship and that transportation may be required from a travel MG.
|
H- Factions and Minor Groups
|
- When choosing a faction or a minor group to be in, try to choose one that fits your
character's stats. When that faction's leader next logs in, he will be able to accept you into
the group or deny you. If you are denied, you can choose another group.
- It is not mandatory to join a faction for a minor group. Anyone may choose to be an
independent and do anything he or she wishes.
