A- Production Basics
|
- The production of goods in SWU is based upon three concepts: materials, cost, and time.
- Before production can begin, the total amount of required materials must be available. If they are not
available, production is halted until sufficient materials are bought or mined.
- When production is started, the build cost is subtracted from the group's total amount of credits. If the
cost is more than the group's current amount of credits, production is halted until it can be paid.
- The time to construct depends on the goods being produced.
|
B- Production Times
|
- It takes time to shape each material into something useful. Each material has its own difficulty ratings for how long it
takes to shape one unit.
- Units shaped per day:
Shaped Material per day = [ Material / (NPCs * difficulty) ]
Material = Total Number of Mineral to Shape
NPCs = Number of NPC Workers
Difficulty = Shaping Difficulty |

- The total time for construction is the sum of shaping times of all required materials.
|
C- Production Costs
|
- The cost of any product follows a simple formula. The total cost of materials is used as a base cost, to which
module costs are added on. To determine module costs, simply follow the chart below for the product.
