Explanation of Stats
|
- There are several sizes that a building can be. They start from 1x1 units all
the way up to 5x5 units, meaning a whole sector. Some buildings can be built in more than
one size. For instance, a factory can range from a 1x1 to a 3x3 building.
- Orbital facilities don't have sizes but instead occupy space units. For more information
on the occupying space, read the Intergalactic Travel Rules
- Each building has its own properties. For instance, generators create energy to power other
buildings while hospitals provide restorative points. The properties that a building can have
depend on its type.
- Every building requires power to operate. Each hour, a check is made to see if each building
is being supplied with power. If a building does not have power, its properties fail to function.
- Occupants of residential buildings flee after 24 hours without power. If a planet's entire
power source fails, the planet's population level drops one level every 36 hours. Military buildings
such as hangars no longer provide protection and are open to thievery.
- Orbital facilities require power modules to provide power. Without enough power for the
entire station, the station stuts down until enough power is able to be supplied.
